What a whirlwind day. We left Colburg in brisk SW winds which built midday to 25kts and led us to break the Thalia record for speed, 11kts! Then we transited the Murray Canal to the protection of the Bay of Quinte where we sailed on smooth waters to our destination at Sandy Cove, where we are being deluged with rain and lots of lightning.
