Without any wind, the iron horses were on display and, after a successful run down the East River, we are tucked into Liberty Landing Marina to wait out Jose and plot our next move. We caught a few fish (Black Fin Tuna and a Mahi) and had a nice 20 knot breeze with a following sea to push us into the Chesapeake. Tonight we are tucked into Bluewater Marina in Hampton. We plan to leave Fort Lauderdale around May 15th and we'll use Newport Shipyard as our home base for the summer. Keala (13) will be at camp near Lake Placid for a few weeks but then she'll join Summer (5), Christa and I. If you're in the Newport area this summer look us up as we are total newbies to the area.
