25º 49.338' N | 111º 18.762' W | Epic Ship | After two weeks of serious motoring with some periods of not serious chilling we have arrived here in Puerto Escondito. It was a magnificent journey up here with mostly smooth seas during the day and some bumpy stuff at night. We did find some really nice anchorages and would love to spend more time in all of them.

25º 51.984' N | 111º 13.272' W | Epic Ship | Puerto Escondito was a great place to ride out tropical storm Blanca. We had lots of company and the mooring buoys are nicely refurbished. Matt and I took the opportunity to hike up into the Steinbeck Canyon again which was a lot of fun. This time there was lots of water in the river And so we waded up the river. They have some rather dubious rope ladders which we took advantage of and made it up to the spectacular nether reaches of the river. Very much an Epic hike. After the storm we topped up the fuel and headed over to Marquar bay. Tho relatively insignificant on a map it is quite spectacular in fact. Big white cliffs and a nice beach for a Mega Yacht beach camp, which we did, cos we could. Today we are headed down to Candeleros Chico and with a little luck we will get a spot there. If that doesn't work out we will head down to Aqua Verde and meet up with Michael and Roger on Milagro.
