We experienced the worst wind over tide scenario in our 20 years of sailing our boat. The Hudson River with a strong Southerly blowing and the tide running out, makes for very unpleasant conditions. Hauling up the anchor was also difficult against 4 knots of current and 20 knots of opposing wind.
